What Happened:

A two-car crash in Hamstead, North Carolina left both drivers with minor injuries. Police stated that one car was driving north on Highway 17, ran a stop light, and smashed into another car that was turning onto Highway 17 from Country Club Drive.

The car driving north was cited for not stopping at a stop sign. It took about one hour for the crash scene to be cleared.

North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyer Perspective:

We are relieved that this serious accident did not result in more serious injuries. We all should take care to always obey all traffic signs so that we do not cause needless accidents.

A personal injury attorney might be consulted in this case, as the at-fault driver could be sued in court for the injuries and medical bills of the other driver.
