Comments (0)

What Happened:

A scooter was driving on Old Cherry Point Road in New Bern, North Carolina, when a pickup truck attempted to pass it. The scooter driver tried to turn and the two vehicles crashed together.

The pickup driver claimed that the scooter driver did not put on a turn signal.

The scooter driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The police continue to investigate this accident. It is not known if charges will be filed.

North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyer Perspective:

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in this incident. We also should keep in mind that it is important to be patient when we are dealing with slower vehicles in front of us on the road. Accidents and injuries could be avoided. Also, we all should remember to always use turn signals.

A personal injury lawyer consultation could be useful in this case. If the driver of the truck is found to be at fault, a personal injury suit on the behalf of the scooter driver could be in order.
