Three Injured as North Carolina Fire Truck Misses Turn

Comments (0)
In what appears to be a role reversal North Carolina firefighters needed to be rescued as their truck overturns on busy highway as the miss the turn. This unusual traffic accident happened near Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to several media sources, it was reported that three people were hurt, with no one seriously injured at the Friday crash.  Evidently, the fire truck overturned on the way to a call. Raleigh police spokesman Jim Sughrue said the three firefighters injured were all in good condition after being taken to WakeMed Hospital.

The police report said that the firefighters upfront and in the back of the hook-and-ladder truck misunderstood their orders about making a left turn or continuing straight. The
overturned fire truck caused about $200 in damage to a single street sign.
