An accident at Glenns Bay Road and Highway 17 bypass in Surfside, South Carolina (SC), on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, has left six people injured. All were taken to the hospital for medical treatment that same day after a three-car pileup occurred at the aforesaid intersection. According to SC Highway Patrol representative Sonny Collins, the SC auto accident happened around 1 p.m. that afternoon when a vehicle ran a red light and struck another vehicle. The second vehicle was turning on Glenns Bay Road, and hit a third car.
