Salisbury, NC Driver Kills Woman Standing in Interstate 85 Median

A Salisbury, North Carolina (NC), is facing a misdemeanor charge of death by vehicle after hitting two women woh were standing in the median of Interstate 85. One of the victims died in the July 17, 2011 wreck, and the other sustained minor injuries, according to WWAY News Channel 3.

Reports indicate the man maintained his speed while approaching the scene of an accident in which the women had been involved. When he swerved to avoid slamming into a stopped car, he left the road and ran into the women.
