Comments (0)

What Happened:

Two men who were killed in a small airplane accident in Huerfano County, Colorado (CO). Both men are believed to have been from Hillsboro, North Carolina (NC). The men were the only two people on board the plane when the accident occurred, according to hamptonroads.com.

The state air patrol found the plane while flying over the remote, mountainous region to check out a report of a signal from an emergency locator transmitter.

The North Carolina Injury Lawyer’s Perspective:

There remain many unanswered questions in this awful accident. Who was operating the plane? Did they encounter difficult weather conditions? Was there a mechanical issue? These questions need to be answered before any type of liability can be assessed by a North Carolina plane accident injury lawyer. For example, if it turns out that the accident was caused by a mechanical issue, the families of the victims may have grounds to take legal action against the manufacturer of the defective part.
