Parking Lot Crash Injures Pedestrian in North Carolina

A pedestrian was seriously injured in early September 2011 when the driver of a Buick Century attempted to back into a handicapped parking space at the Durham County Main Library. According to the Herald Sun, the victim was dragged 30 feet and found bleeding on the pavement by firefighters who had him taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment.

This North Carolina car crash illustrated the damage that can occur when a pedestrian is in the wrong place at the wrong time. An unexpected event can put someone's life at risk.
