One woman was killed in a North Carolina three-car crash on June 3, according to the Clay County Progress. The victim was driving a Chevy Cavalier westbound on U.S. 64 when a Ford Escape crossed the center line from the eastbound lane and hit the Cavalier. The impact of the crash caused the Ford to bounce off the Cavalier into the path of a Kia.
Tragically, the driver of the Cavalier died at the scene from injuries sustained during the collision.
The victim was a resident of Hayesville, North Carolina (NC) who was reportedly an active member in her community. She sang and played the piano at her church for over 30 years, according to the townson-rose.com obituary.
The exact cause of this NC car crash is unclear. Was the at-fault driver distracted? Is it a case of driver fatigue? We will have to wait and see what the accident report reveals.
A member of the victim's family may want to consider filing a wrongful death claim against the at-fault driver. "What exactly is a wrongful death claim?" you might ask. Well, to learn more, take a look at this article on NC wrongful death claims.
