Mint Hill, NC police said a driver of a Ford Windstar van tried to make a left turn onto NC 51 from Evans Road, pulling into the path of the motorcyclist. The motor bike rider collided with the van and lost control. He got ejected from his bike, and then hit by a Jeep Cherokee traveling in the other direction.
Even if criminal charges are filed, the family or friends of the motorcyclist who died in this NC motorcycle and car wreck might have to file a Mecklenburg County wrongful death case against any responsible parties in order to get justice for the pain they suffered.
The death of a loved one is a life-altering event that may never fully be put to memory. It is troubling to think that, in a split second, the motor bike rider's life was gone forever. This North Carolina car-motorcycle crash illustrated the damage that can occur in a motorcycle or car accident.
