A serious accident occurred when an SUV pulled out of a subdivision attempting to make left turn on Route 168 in Moyock, North Carolina (NC).
The driver of the SUV failed to see a blue car heading south on Rt. 168 which then slammed into the side of the SUV, according to wavy.com.
A passenger in the blue car suffered injuries, including potentially broken bones, and was flown to a local hospital. The driver in the car also suffered injuries. No one else was inside the car.
The driver of the SUV and six children were fortunate enough to avoid injury.
This car-SUV accident illustrates how important it is to be vigilant and proceed with caution when making a turn onto a busy road. Making a sudden turn without checking to see if a car is coming can have terrible consequences, as evident in this Moyock, NC wreck.
Charges could be filed against the at-fault driver of the SUV.
The driver of the blue car may want to consider filing a personal injury claim since the accident appears to have been caused by the negligence of the SUV driver.
