The driver of the SUV, 41-year-old Deanna Lynn Plyler of Heath Springs, near Lancaster, was killed in the crash, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick. Two passengers in the SUV and the driver of the Toyota were all taken to a local hospital, according to the highway patrol. Their names were not released. The driver of the Honda was not hurt in the Conway, SC car accident, which remains under investigation.
Although I do not know this woman, our heart goes out to her family as the grieve over her loss. Unfortunately, in today's fast pace world it is not enough to be a safe driver and stay alive on the road today. This tragic fatal three car crash is the sixth fatal accident on Horry County roadways in just the last two weeks. Many car accidents today can be blamed on driver distraction, especially with the advent of text messaging and the age of the blackberry.
