The driver of van who hit a volunteer firefighter who was monitoring traffic at the scene of a tractor-trailer accident on Highway 52 in King, North Carolina (NC), has been charged with careless and wreckless driver. The firefghter was carried approximately 100 feet and sustained injuries, but he is expected to make a full recovery.

Giving emergency responders room to work and heeding traffic warnings are imperative. Had the van driver done so, this accident would never have occurred. I hope the victim makes a complete recovery from his injuries.

As experienced personal injury lawyers, we my colleagues and I have heled numerous clients injured due to the carelessness and recklessness of others receive compensation.
