Comments (0)

What Happened:

A car was driving east on NC 421 near Sanford, North Carolina late at night, when it flew off the road. The car smashed through a tree, crashed into an empty house and burst into flames. The driver and three occupants of the car died.

The fatal accident happened near the junction of NC 421 and Dixie Farm Road. Police indicated that the crash happened at 2:30 AM and involved a high rate of speed.

North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyer Perspective:

This is another sad accident that apparently involved speeding. According to government statistics, excessive speed causes 1/3 of fatal wrecks in the US. We hope that this tragedy will help to remind drivers to be sure that they are never exceeding speed limits. It also is important to slow down at night and when visibility is less than ideal.

We extend our condolences to all of the families in this case.

The families of the passengers may wish to consult with a personal injury attorney in North Carolina. A wrongful death suit could be brought in this case, and could result in financial compensation for their pain and suffering.
