Fatal Construction Accident as Worker Falls to Death at Spartanburg, South Carolina School

Something went dramatically wrong a few mornings ago when Daniel Hall fell to his death while doing some renovation work for South Carolina's School for the Deaf and Blind. Climbing up the ladder proved deadly for Hall as he fell off while trying to install an electrical box for the school. Hall was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and was pronounced dead that same morning.

Although the cause of his fall is still under investigation pending an autopsy, Katie Rice, spokesperson for the School of the Deaf and Blind said Hall was working as a subcontractor doing renovations when he died in this construction accident.  It is not known as of this writing whether of not all safety regulations and precautions were followed at the time of Hall's death.

We do not personally know Daniel Hall or his family, but our hearts and prayers go out to them in their time of grief. It is always tough when someone you know or love dies and it is especially hard when it occurs without warning as it did in this case. It's true that injury from a construction accident is fairly common, but dying from one is usually rare as many safety regulations are required to be followed in this type of work.

As with all serious injury and wrongful death cases, it is especially crucial to seek out professional legal advice in construction accident cases and we have the experienced injury attorneys to evaluate your claim. Our firm is ready to assist you  in reviewing your specific situation to see if your claim meets our criteria. In South Carolina, as well as every other state, there are laws on how long you have to file a suit also. Don't hesitate, call our toll free number and get confidential legal advice.
