I've seen a lot of car accidents as a VA car crash attorney, but it never fails to shock me how drunk drivers can be so selfish. The men killed in the accident were victims of another person's carelessness and disregard for fellow drivers. Our thoughts go out to the Hawkins and Moore families in this difficult time. Both men were in the prime of their lives, with so much ahead of them. It's what makes this type of crash even more tragic. The families may want to consider filing a wrongful death claim against the driver and her insurance company.
