Burlington Car Wreck Leads to Two Injuries

Comments (0)
A serious car wreck occurred at the intersection of Mebane and Sixth streets in Burlington, North Carolina (NC). Two people suffered injuries after the driver a Ford Windstar van failed to stop at a stop light

The driver and passenger of an Acura Integra suffered injuries and were taken to UNC Chapel Hill for treatment. The driver of the Integra is in critical, but stable condition, according to wxii12.com.

Before the police arrived at the scene of this Burlington wreck, the driver of the van became hostile and assaulted a witness. The van driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, resist, delay and obstruct an officer, failing to reduce speed, failing to stop at a stop Light and simple assault.

The victims of this accident should speak to an injury attorney in North Carolina to discuss their legal options. If they miss significant time from work, accrue a large amount of medical bills, and/or suffer a decrease in quality of life from their injuries, they would have grounds for a personal injury claim.
