Recently, in Garner, North Carolina (N.C.) a Wake County school bus was involved in a wreck during its normal morning route. A garbage truck collided with a bus at the intersection of Creech and Old Garner roads, Garner police said. The bus was headed to Timber Drive Elementary School, Wake County public schools' spokesman Greg Thomas said.
Four of the children on the bus were taken to a nearby hospital after complaining of neck and back pain. They have since been released. The remaining 24 children were taken to school.
