The North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyers’ Perspective

Walking along railroad tracks or just crossing them can be quite dangerous.  Many variables cause pedestrians to be surprised by approaching trains.  The problem is that local law enforcement may be unfamiliar with railroad operations and they often rely on the railroad's own investigation.  It is typical for the railroad investigators and officials to blame the accident on the pedestrian. This is why it’s essential to contact a North Carolina (NC) wrongful death lawyer. Our firm has experienced investigators who examine the scene of the accident as well as the evidence available to local law enforcement.  If a loved one was killed by a railroad train, do not hesitate to call for a private consultation. Our North Carolina (NC) personal injury lawyers are nationally recognized in the field of railroad accident injury law and have represented many victims involved in accidents including a record setting $60 million jury verdict that was awarded to a clerk who suffered a traumatic brain injury from a Norfolk Southern railroad accident.
